Meet Tobias!
The very first dog that was fully supported by your purchases and kind donations to Saving South Paws.
Unfortunately he was hit by a car in a rural community in Tennessee, and ended up with a severely broken leg. His family could not afford to have his leg amputated and were about to euthanize him.
We could not let that happen so we took responsibility for all of his veterinary costs. Little did we know, that on top of his amputation, he also had heartworm which was another expensive treatment.
He hasn't skipped a beat since losing his leg and he is still a happy go lucky young dog. He is now thriving in his forever home in Ontario, Canada thanks to Fetch + Releash Dog Rescue.

Meet Tucker!

This little meatball was diagnosed with heartworm. This disease is very costly to treat and his rescuer couldn't afford it. We couldn't stand the thought of this guy suffering so we jumped into action to cover his vet bills. Tucker's treatment was covered in memory of a sweet dog named Stevie who unfortunately lost her battle with heartworm. We did not want Tucker to have the same fate, as dogs with heartworm are so close to our heart.

Tucker is now happy and healthy living his best life in his forever home, thanks to Fetch + Releash Dog Rescue

Meet Shaggy!

Dumped to survive on his own, Shaggy landed in a high kill shelter in a rural community. He was to cute to pass up but we soon learned something was wrong. At just one and a half years of age this handsome boy suffered an unknown injury that had healed poorly on it's own.

Hip surgeries aren't cheap and we knew his adoptability would be effected without having the issue repaired. We made it possible for him the get the necessary care, which ended up being two back to back surgeries. Shaggy will have a limp for the rest of his life but we are thrilled to know he will have many pain free years ahead with his forever family. Shaggy's foster (thanks to Canine Haven Rescue) quickly fell head over heels for him and adopted him shortly after arriving in Canada.
